Founded in 1963 by Serbian immigrants who came to Australia seeking new opportunities, FC Melbourne Serbia was built on friendship, football, and a strong sense of family. Led by founding member Ostoja Pekic, the club began with local community members coming together simply to play, followed by post-match gatherings that formed the welcoming culture we still carry today. Now based at Kevin Bartlett Reserve in Burnley/Richmond and proudly representing greater Melbourne, we are one of inner Melbourne’s established clubs, combining over 60 years of tradition with modern facilities, a diverse community, and a bold vision for the future.

Colby joins from Midwestern State University, Texas, where he built a strong reputation in the Lone Star Conference as a two-time All LSC Second Team selection and All Tournament Team honoree. A key part of a top defensive unit, he also earned 24 Strong Teammate of the Year, highlighting the leadership and character he brings. A modern full back who can play on either side, Colby adds versatility, intelligence, and reliability to the squad, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Melbourne Srbija family

FC Melbourne Srbija is proud to announce the signing of Marco Cannatelli for the 2026 season. An explosive and direct midfielder/winger, Marco adds pace, creativity and attacking intent to our squad. His ability to take on defenders and impact games in the final third will provide an exciting boost for the season ahead.⠀ Marco made his senior NPL debut with Moreland City FC at just 17 years of age and has since gone on to make over 30 senior appearances — a strong achievement for a young talent continuing to develop his game.

FC Melbourne Srbija is proud to announce the signing of Alex Golikidis for the 2026 season. The talented young goalkeeper joins us adding strong competition and quality to our squad. Alex began his junior career with Heidelberg United FC before gaining overseas experience with FC Dolní Benešov in the Czech Republic and in Spain with the academies of Rayo Vallecano and Real Oviedo. After valuable stints abroad, Alex returns home bringing international experience and great potential. We’re excited to welcome him for 2026.
